Snowie Beatrice Fielde Mounts, 86, of Waverly, Ohio, passed away Thursday, May 14, 1998. She was born August 6, 1911, in Floyd County, Va., to the late Henry B. Pratt and India Pratt Saunders.
She was preceded in death in 1962 by her first husband, Wilbur W. Fielder, and by her second husband, Swanson H. Mounts Sr. on November 27, 1974. She also was preceded in death by a brother, George Pratt.
Surviving are two sons, Marvin Fielder and his wife, Leta of Waverly, and William Fielder and his wife, Virginia of Temperance, Mich.; two stepsons, Walter Fielder and his wife, Hazel of Norwalk, Calif., and Swanson H. Mounts Jr. and his wife, Dottie of Worthington, Ohio; a stepdaughter, Mary Lou Hale and her husband, Ronnie of Springfield, Ohio; a sister, Ocie Shreve of Waverly; a half brother, Joe Pratt; a half sister, Ann Pratt Admister; five grandchildren; 10 great-grandchildren, and two great-great-grandchildren.
Funeral services will be held at 1 p.m. Monday, May 18, 1998, at Oakey's North Chapel in Roanoke, Va., with the Rev. George Stevenson officiating. The interment will follow in Blue Ridge Memorial Gardens. The family will receive friends from 11 a.m. to 1 p.m. Monday at Oakey's North Chapel.
