Rena Ann Betterton Fields, 84, of Malakoff passed away Thursday, Aug. 31, 2006, in Malakoff.

Graveside services will be 10 a.m. today at Resthaven Memorial Park in Corsicana with Brother John Watson and Brother Tom Atwell officiating.

Mrs. Fields was born Sept. 15, 1921, in Henderson County.

Survivors include her husband, Robert A. Fields of Malakoff; daughters, Ann DeMoss and husband Damon of Corsicana and Catherine DeMoss of Corsicana; son, Robert Betterton and wife Sheilia of Ben Wheeler; stepdaughters, Kathy Stibbens of Malakoff and Vickie Willard of Trinidad; brother, Joe Abbott of Tyler; nine grandchildren, seven step grandchildren, 27 great-grandchildren and five great-great-grandchildren.
