Peter De Wind, 103 years old, died Saturday, January 30, 2016 in Pikeville, TN at the home of his son and daughter-in-law.

Until 2006 he had lived in Olive Township, MI. He was a lifetime member of the Bauer Seventh-day Adventist church. He was proceeded in death by his wife of 68 years, Bertha (Hamstra) and his son-in-law Harry Gabriel. He is survived by children: Sallyann Gabriel of Portland, OR; Tony and Linda De Wind of Pikeville, TN; Glenda Sue and Doug Langshaw of Rock Spring, GA; 8 grandchildren; 10 great grandchildren and one sister-in-law, Evelyn Hamstra of Zeeland.

Services will be at 11 am Sunday, February 7, 2016 at Yntema Funeral Home, 251 South State Street, Zeeland. Pastor Ron Mills will officiate. Visitation will be 7-9 pm Saturday at the funeral home. Burial will be in Olive Township Cemetery. Memorials may be given to Adventist Development and Relief Agency International (ADRA.ORG).
