Stella passed away at Turtle and Crane Assisted Living. She graduated from Idaho Falls High School. On July 13, 1943, she married Jack in San Francisco, CA, and they had four children. She was a devoted mother and homemaker. The family lived in Arizona, Morocco, Bellview, NE, and Portsmouth, NH. In 1968, they moved to Idaho Falls. Stella loved camping, fishing, boating with family, sewing, crafts, ceramics, cake decorating, an cross stitch. Survivors included: children Tonia (Rick) Cook, Ammon, Betty Jo Peterson, Ammon, and Jack R. (Carolyn) Peterson, Jr., Idaho Falls; 14 grandchildren and 23 great grandchildren. She was preceded by daughter and son-in-law Mary and David Schatz, two great grandchildren, and nine siblings. Funeral services held February 6 at Wood Funeral Home East, 963 S. Ammon Road.
