Bonnie Jean was born in Blair, Nebraska January 31, 1934 to Lee and Meta (Hinrich) Bradford.
She got her first Social Security number in June, 1947. In October, 1964, she married Charles L. Brown, and changed her name. In January, 1974, she married Kenneth Harrington, and changed her name one more time.
Bonnie Jean Harrington entered eternity December 20, 1996.
Services were Monday, Dec. 23 at Metcalf Funeral Home in Lincoln for Bonnie J. Harrington, 62 of Lincoln, who died Dec. 20, 1996. Burial was in Lincoln Memorial Park.
She was a home care assistant.
She was preceded in death by husbands, Charles L. Brown and Kenneth Harrington, and a sister, Marjorie Cook.
She is survived by a daughter, Shelley J. Burgess, Ft. Collins, Colo.; a daughter and son-in-law, Cindy M. and Roy Hart, Dubuque, Iowa; sons and daughters-in-law, Ted C. and Debbie Brown, Elkhorn and Ray D. and Tracy Harrington, Eagle, Nebr.; sisters, Nadine Meier, Nickerson and Elaine Grabbe, Herman; a brother, Jerry Bradford, Lincoln and ten grandchildren.
Pallbearers were Ernie Shipe, Jerry Bradford, Ron Love, Wayne VanEperen, Dwight Carter, Bobby Homart, Glen Osterbur and Roy Burgess.
Honorary pallbearers were her grandsons, Curtis, Corey and Cody.
