Stephen Tasnady
Stockton - Stephen Tasnady, 84, of Mill St., died Saturday in the Hunterdon Medical Center.
Born in Hungary, Mr. Tasnady was a U.S. citizen and had resided in this country most of his life. He was a resident of Stockton for the past 25 years and had formerly resided in Ringoes.
He retired as a mechanic for Johns-Manville Corp. of Manville.
Surviving are his wife, Mrs. Elizabeth Sabo Tasnady; six sons, Stephen, Alex, and Daniel, all of Flemington. Joseph of Colorado, John of Dover, and William of Vineland; a daughter, Mrs. Dora Mock of Flemington; a sister, Mrs. Pearl Clancy of Tampa, Fla.; 14 grandchildren, and 11 great-grandchildren.
Funeral services will be held at 11 a.m. Tuesday at the Holcombe-Fisher Funeral Home, Flemington. Burial will be in Somerville Cemetery. Friends may call from 7 to 9 p.m. Monday at the funeral home.
