Son of William and Rebecca Ledford Jones Conalley. Before the Civil War he bought Haymarket in Nottoway County, Virginia, and rebuilt the house.He lived there for a number of years. Dr. Connalley married Sallie Fletcher Jones. He was a physician of note and was graduated from Jefferson Medical College in Philadelphia March 29, 1848. He had a large family of children. Dr. Connalley was the first captain of the Nottoway Grays,CSA.
In 1870, Reps(age 41) was an Alleopathic (Osteopathic) Physician in Bellefonte, Nottoway County. Sallie F (age 32) had 3 children at home; Richard J.(age 13),
Lizzie N.(age 5) & Ellenor(age 2 mos).
Reps died before the 1880 census. His Widow, Sallie F.(age 37) had 2 daughters at home in Bellefonte; Lizzie N.(age 14) & Ellenor C.(age 10).
In 1900, Sally(age 65) lived in Bellefonte with her daughter Elanor C.(age 30) & her husband W.B. Jones(age 30). They had been married 4 years and had one
daughter, Sally F. Jones born Jan 1899.
Disinterment from Connally Family Cemetery, Nottoway Co. (Fort Pickett) in 1941-42 expansion of Fort Pickett.
"This family cemetery was located northwest of the intersection of Gettysburg and Pine Roads (Training Area 46) in what was Tract J-206 owned by James A.
Peterson et ux. in 1944.
