FARMER CITY-Mrs. Sylvia F. Holman, 77, died at Greenbriar Nursing Home, Champaign, at 8:50 a.m. Thursday. She had been ill for some time. Her funeral will be at 1 p.m. Saturday at the Stensel's Funeral Home, Farmer City, the Rev. Mark Baumgartner officiating. Burial will be in Grandview Memorial Gardens, Champaign. Visitation will be from 6 to 9 tonight at the funeral home. Mrs. Holman was born May 5, 1899, near LeRoy, a daughter of Corey D. and Maude Rutledge Reynolds. She married Warren B. Holman in 1920 at Bloomington. He died Jan. 22, 1963. Surviving is a daughter, Mrs. Ruth Mowry, St. Joseph; three sons, Dean, Farmer City; John R., Mansfield; Robert, Mahomet; two brothers, Arlo Reynolds, Farmer City; Rolla Reynolds, Gibson City; three sisters, Mrs. Robert Noxon, Urbana; Mrs. Rex Roark, LeRoy; Mrs. Wallace Lamb, Farmer City; seven grandchildren and two great-grandchildren. Two brothers and two sisters also preceded her in death. She was a member of the Bethel Church.
