Warren B. Holman, 65, died suddenly at 9:30 p.m. Tuesday, Jan. 22, at his home near Mahomet. He was born July 27, 1898, in Clay County, Illinois, son of Homer and Florence Bates Holman. He and his son, Robert, farmed together and had farmed in the Bethel vicinity many years. They moved to a farm near Mahomet in 1951. He was united in marriage to Sylvia Reynolds on April 24, 1920, at Bloomington. He is survived by his widow; three sons, Dean and John, Farmer City, and Robert, at home; One daughter, Mrs. Ruth Mowry, St. Joseph; seven grandchildren; and one brother, Albert, Farmer City. He was preceded in death by his mother and father and one brother. Mr. Holman was a member of the Bethel Congregational Christian Church. Funeral services will be held at 2 p.m. Friday at Stensel's Funeral Home with the Rev. Paul Kangas in charge. Burial will be in Memorial Gardens, Champaign. Casket bearers will be Carlyle Davis, Herman Savage, Lyle Niklaus, Albert Larson, Lloyd Clark and George Mayol.
