He was a W.W.II Veteran. After discharge, he moved to the state of Washington, where he lived for many years, working on fruit farms there, and in Idaho, After retirement he moved to Hood River. Services were held in the Anderson Funeral Home in Hood River with Rev. Jack Naff officiating. Survivors include his wife Eleanor of the home; stepsons Curtis Goodwin of White Salmon, Wash. Gene Goodwin, and James Goodwin of Hermiston, Ore.; four step grand sons ,and four step great sons. a brother Felix of Cheney Wash. two sisters Carnie Pennington of Reed springs, Mo. Severe Bandy, of Burley, Idaho.
