Fred Leroy Daniels was a veteran of the United States Navy. For many years, he was a walnut grower and he also worked for the State of California and had worked for Southern California Edison for 10 years. He was a member of the Springville Community Church and was a member of the Free and Accepted Masons, the Veterans of Foreign Wars and the American Legion.
He is survived by his wife of 51 years LaVerne Daniels; daughter Tracy Skiles; three sons - Scott Daniels, Jeff Daniels and Chad Daniels, all of Porterville; six grandchildren; a sister - Tena Schumake of Blair; a brother - Francis Daniels of Turlock; many nieces and nephews.
He was preceded in death by his parents - Richard and Edna Daniels; stepmother Marian Daniels of Blair; daughter - Kristen Daniels; sister - Barbara Goodell and one grandchild.
