Grace was born in Mondamin, IA on January 2nd, 1921 to Lena (Engelke) and John McIntosh.
She grew up in Modale, Iowa and attended school there.
In 1939, Grace married Howard Baker. The couple originally made their home in Modale, Iowa and then moved to Blair in 1949. She was a resident of Blair for over 60 years.
Grace and Howard were blessed with four sons and two daughters.
Grace enjoyed above all else spending time with her grandchildren. She also enjoyed quilting, gardening and canning.
Grace Baker, 95, of Blair, entered eternity January 7th, 2016 at Good Shepherd Lutheran Community in Blair, Nebraska.
She was preceded in death by her husband, Howard Baker, daughter Bonnie Mathison, and son Kenny Baker.
Left with memories are children and their spouses, a son-in law, 18 grandchildren, 42 great-grandchildren, 8 great-great-grandchildren, numerous nieces and nephews, extended family and friends.
Visitation will be one hour prior to the service starting at 9:30 AM. Funeral Service 10:30 AM Tuesday, January 12th, 2016, Campbell Aman Funeral Home, Blair, Nebraska. Officiating: Ruth Tomlinson; Musical Selections: “Wind Beneath My Wings” and “The Old Rugged Cross”. Casket Bearers: Scott Rahn, Todd Mathison, Chris Baker, Justin Baker, Joel Baker, Josh Baker. Graveside Services: Blair Cemetery, Blair, Nebraska
