Barbara Layton, 87, of Titusville, FL passed away on January 3, 2016. She was born to the late William G. and Lydia O. Hicks on October 6 in Orlando, FL. Barbara was known for her deep love for her family. She always did what was necessary to care for her children and spent a majority of her life as a homemaker. She was married to her surviving husband, William Layton, for over 30 years. Together, they enjoyed car shows and spending precious time together.
Barbara had a love for the beach and enjoyed many trips with her family to New Smyrna and other beaches. She was also gifted in sewing and loved making dresses. Barbara was a 20 year survivor of breast cancer. She will be deeply missed by those who knew and loved her.
Barbara was preceded in her passing by her siblings, Kenneth Hicks, George Hicks, James Hicks, Wilma Worl, Dorothy Kelly, Ruth Madden, and William Hicks.
