Mr. Harold Lee Howard, age 80, of Madison, Indiana entered this life on May 7, 1935 in Owen County, Kentucky near Owenton. He was the loving son of the late, Clarence and Virgie Lee Johnson Howard. He resided his early life in Owen County and attended school there. On August 11, 1958 he was united in marriage to Nancy C. Skirvin in Warsaw, Kentucky. He moved to Madison in 1960. This happy union of fifty seven years was blessed with a son, Gregory Lee and a daughter, Leisa. He had worked as a bulldozer operator, truck driver, dump truck driver and at the U.S. Shoe Corporation. He was a member of the Southern Baptist Church in Versailles. He enjoyed flea markets, mowing his lawn and riding his BMW motorcycle. Harold was a devoted husband, loving dad and grandpa. Harold died on Sunday, January 3, 2016, at 9:00 a.m. at his home near Madison, Indiana.
Harold will be missed by his loving wife of fifty seven years, Nancy C. Skirvin Howard of Madison, Indiana; his loving son, Gregory L. Howard and his companion, Marlene Henson of Pawnee, Illinois; his loving daughter, Leisa Howard of Madison, Indiana; his loving grandchildren, Patrick, Chanda, Marissa and Miranda; his adoring great grandchildren,
He was preceded in death by his parents, Clarence and Virgie Lee Johnson Howard, his brothers, Gayle Howard and Laurel Howard, and his sister, Marlene Manns.
