Jeff Scott Hilton, beloved husband, brother, uncle and friend was born on January 28, 1957 in Orange, CA and passed away peacefully on Thursday, December 31, 2015 surrounded by family at his home in Fresno.
Jeff was actively involved in the Fresno community through his work with Fresno/Madera Youth for Christ, Northwest Church and Valley Teen Ranch where he was known for his friendly demeanor as well as his culinary talents. He was a graduate of Hoover High School, a member of the Stagehand's Union Local 158, and a retiree of the City of Fresno where he worked as a theatrical lighting stagehand for 26 years.
Jeff is preceded in death by his parents, Earl "Bud" and Jeannine Hilton and sister-in-law, Julie Schlichting.
Jeff is survived by Kathy, his wife of 31 years, and her parents, Bill and Shirley Schlichting. He is also survived by his sisters, Jennifer McCord and her husband Terry, Juli Loving and her husband Corbett. Jeff's family also includes his nieces and nephews, Sarah Hawkins and her husband Ben and their daughter Mackenzie, Andrea McCord, Colton and Caleb Loving. Jeff will be fondly remembered by numerous others who all called him Uncle Jeff.
