She was a member of St. Teresa of Avila Church, Union City. Jean was a 1951 graduate of Union City. She worked for Cox Family Auctions until her retirement in 2003. Jean enjoyed playing bingo and going to flea markets, yard sales, and auctions.
In addition to her parents and husband, she was preceded in death by a son, Jace Downor in 2001; and a sister, Margaret Pears in 2000.
Survivors include a son, Johnny Downor and wife, Karen, of Salem, Va.; daughters, Gail Madden and husband, Dave, of Montrose, Colo. and Darlene Downor of Erie; a daughter-in-law, Mary Downor of Erie; grandchildren; great-grandchildren; and several nieces and nephews. She also is survived by special best friend, Joanne Lenart.
Interment will be in Evergreen Cemetery, Union City.
