Actress. After winning a local beauty pageant in her native East Liverpool, Ohio, she modeled for a period and took part in a traveling sing and dance routine, prior embarking upon Hollywood and signing on with RKO Pictures. After a string of minor roles, she achieved a small amount of success in the short films "What a Blonde" (1945) and "Alibi Baby" (1945) which starred Leon Errol. She may perhaps be best remembered for co-starring opposite William Boyd in several films of the "Hopalong Cassidy" series including "The Devil's Playground" (1946) and "False Paradise" (1948). During the 1950s, she moved on to television and accrued many credits including roles in such programs as "The Lone Ranger" and the "Hopalong Cassidy" TV series, as well as many others. She retired from the entertainment industry during the early 1960s. She was married to actor Richard Martin.
