Ocie O Parker, born October 31, 1896, was the son of Thomas L and Eliza Parker. He married Maggie Mae Collvins Dec 10, 1916 in Bowie County, Texas. By 1920 he was working in Oklahoma in the oil fields. He made enough money to buy a farm in Jackson County, Oklahoma and began to buy and sell cattle. He was an excellent trader and soon bought more property at the edge of the town of Eldorado, also in Jackson County. He built cattle pens here and was soon shipping railroad car loads of cattle to markets in Oklahoma City and other places. Unfortunately at a relatively young age he developed cancer, a brain tumor, and died September 10, 1943.
