Margie, 80, Bluffton, died at Blanchard Valley Hospital.

She was the daughter of Alvan and Mary Christina (Lora) Basinger. On Mar 21, 1954, she married Merrel Dwight Geiger, who preceded her in death.

Surviving are a son, Craig, Columbus; two daughters: Marcia Coppler, Bluffton, and Natalie Geiger, Pandora; and eight grandchildren and three great-grandchildren.

Deceased are two brothers linked below; and four sisters: Donna Kacerek, Caris Veazey, Myra West and Bette Barre.

Retired as a postal clerk from the Lima Post Office, she also worked at several other post offices, Snyder-Reese Insurance, Pandora and at Geiger's Dutch Corner, the small store she owned with her husband. She was an active member of St. John Mennonite Church, Pandora, where she taught Sunday School and participated in the choir and Women's groups. She volunteered at the Mennonite Memorial Home, Bluffton. She was a loving and thoughtful mother, grandmother and aunt and always saw the positives in other people. She was a very caring person who enjoyed providing for others. She also enjoyed traveling.

Services will be at St. John Mennonite Church, Pandora, with Rev. Lynn Thompson officiating. Burial will be in Pleasant Ridge Cemetery, Pandora, following the service.
