Florence Bertha Pettit (Labs) was born on February 9, 1928 in Elkhorn, NE to William and Bertha (Vilwok) Labs. Florence was the fourth child of seven. Early in her childhood Florence was given the nick name of "Honey", and that name stayed with her throughout her life.
Florence lived a good life and was preceded in death by her parents; husband, Richard; and sisters, Arlene, Evelyn, and Dorothy.
She is survived by her sons, Bret, Bart and his wife Tammy, Mark and his wife Kris, and Chuck; grandchildren, Benjamin and significant other Urszula, Laura and her husband Mitch, Ryan and his wife Dana, Crystal and her significant other Ryan, Katie, Jacob and his wife Tiffany, Michelle, Molly, and Kalli; great grandchild, Logan; and brothers, Howard, Kenneth, and Bill.

VISITATION will be from 6-8pm Wednesday, December 23, at John A. Gentleman 72nd Street Chapel. FUNERAL SERVICES will be at 10am on Saturday, December 26, at the Funeral Home, followed by Burial in Kennard Cemetery in Kennard, NE. Memorials are suggested to the American Diabetes Association.
