Phyllis Kent Chisholm, age 68, of Defoe, died Thursday, January 20, 2005 at the Baptist Hospital Northeast. She was a member of the Union Baptist Church, a homemaker, and the daughter of the late Henry and Ruth Rucker Aldridge.
She is survived by two sons: Lonnie Chisholm, Pleasureville and Darrell Chisholm, Eminence; four daughters: Patty Rainwater, Defoe, Connie Taylor, New Castle, Lynn Meers, Pleasureville and Carol Coombs, Jericho; one brother: Wayne Aldridge, Harrodsburg; 12 grandchildren; seven great-grandchildren; and several nieces and nephews.
Funeral services were held at 2 p.m. Sunday, January 23 at Sholar Funeral Home, Pleasureville. Rev. Carl Rucker, pastor of the Port Royal Baptist Church officiated. Burial was in the Wallace Cemetery.
