In 1815 he left the Fulham pottery and invested his life savings of £100 in a small pottery in Vauxhall Walk. The company produced a line of stoneware bottles, jars, tobacco containers, match stands, butter dishes and utilitarian based industrial products in addition to some traditional brown stoneware tobies.
