She was preceded in death by her father and mother, John Paul and Minnie Ottinger of the Long Creek Community; son, Charles Carroll Cox; stepson, Freddie Rolen; brothers, Fred “Dit” Ottinger and Darrel Ottinger; sisters, Lola Sue “Pat” and husband Vester Henderson and Charolette Barns;
She is survived by her brother, Ray Ottinger of North Carolina; daughter and son-in-law, Shandra and Jamie Valentine; son and daughter-in-law, Danny and Debbie Cox; daughter and son-in-law, Pattie and Eric Coleman; step-daughter and son-in-law, Sharon and Ronnie Hurst; daughter-in-law, Debbie Rolen; step-sons, TJ Rolen and Ed Gibson; grandchildren, Chris and wife Sarah Stapleton, Brittany Cox, John Cox, Makayla Valentine, Jared Cox, Emma Adcox, Ty Coleman, Sydney Coleman, Morgan Coleman, Nikki Mayfield, Jeremy Rolen, Rod Hurst, David Hurst, Amy Norton, Ashley Gregory, and Ralee Gibson.
Funeral Services will be held at 8:00 pm on Thursday, December 17, 2015 in the Manes Funeral Home Chapel with Rev. Charlie Ottinger and Rev. Ronald Winstead officiating. Burial will be at 11:00 am on Friday, December 18, 2015 in Resthaven Memorial Gardens. The family will receive friends from 6:00-8:00 pm on Thursday at Manes Funeral Home.
