She was a native of Fort Pierce. She was a coordinator in the photo studio industry and was a member of Liberty Baptist Church.
Survivors include her husband, Howard Carter of Fort Pierce; sons, Michael Carter of Fort Pierce, and Billy Carter of Lewisburg, TN; daughter, Randy Hoke of Fort Pierce; six grandchildren; and nine great-grandchildren.

SERVICES: Visitation will be Sept. 6 from 10 to 11 a.m., followed by a service at 11 a.m. at the Haisley Funeral Home Chapel. Burial will follow at Hillcrest Memorial Gardens.
