Ruben Richardson, 83, who has been in declining health for some time, died yesterday at the Allen County hospital.
Born at Murfressboro, Tenn., Mr Richardson came to Kansas as a young man. He lived in or near Iola at various times, returning here permanently about seven years ago. He was a member of the Second Baptist church.
His only immediate survivor is a daughter, Miss Dorothy Richardson, Tulsa, Okla.
Services will be conducted by the Rev D. L. Miles at 2 p.m. Monday in the Sleeper chapel. Burial will be at the Iola Cemetery.
