William Edmond Ansley (Nov 11 1888-Sept 26, 1972) Ansley traveled the country for 27 years promoting Buster Brown children's shoes with his dog Tige. From 1908 to 1935, the 42 in. dwarf appeared in a blonde wig, blue tie, red suit and hat, know as Buster Brown. He lived in Hugo until his death in 1972. "He was quite a Character."
Note: Ed was born in 1891, and was a small person, at age 26 he was 42 inches tall but he grew to 50 inches. | | | Burial:
