Edna Ann Riley, 73, of York, died Sunday, July 1, at York. She was born June 12, 1928, at Catherine, Kan., to Raymond and Clara (Dreiling) Karlin.

Edna was married to Bernard E. Riley at Salina, Kan., on May 7, 1949.

She was member of the St. Joseph's Catholic Church in York, the Catholic Daughters and the Altar Society. She had worked in the kitchen at Lincoln School in York.

Survivors include her husband, Bernard of York; son, Randy Riley of Columbus; and three grandchildren. Also surviving are five sisters, Clara Bellerive of Salina, Kan., Bonita McCurdy of Cleveland, Ohio, Cecilia Long of Carthage, Mo., Mary Benson and Rosemary Jochum, both of Salina, Kan.

Preceding her in death were her parents; son, Rodney; two brothers; and one sister.

Funeral services will be held on Wednesday, July 4, at 10:30 a.m., at the St. Joseph's Catholic Church in York with the Rev. Leo Seiker. Rosary services will be held on Tuesday at 7:30 p.m. at the Metz Chapel in York. Burial will be in the church cemetery.

Memorials may be directed to the St. Joseph's School. Metz Mortuary of York is in charge of arrangements.
