John was the son of John Claybourne Fletcher and Elizabeth Jaynes of Adair county, KY.

John L. Fletcher
John L. Fletcher, 83, retired farmer and caretaker of the city tourist camp, west Spruce street, died at 7:30 o'clock Tuesday night at this home, 513 west Spruce street. He had suffered a heart attack last Staurday evening.
Funeral services will be held at 2 o'clock Friday afternoon at the Trinity Gospel Tabernacle in Baldwin Heights with the Rev. J.W. Adcock and the Rev. Austin Hand officiating. Burial will be in the I.O.O.F. cemetery. The remnains are at the home, 513 west Spruce street, from the Colvin & Son mortuary.
Surviving are the widow, Harriet Coomer Fletcher; a son, Arthur, Mt. Carmel, Ill., six daughters, Mrs. J.S. Jackson, Mrs. Jacob Burgess, Mrs. Hattie Shanks, and Mrs. Paull Angle, all of Princeton; Mrs, Luther DeBord, Francisco; Mrs. Jesse Tyree, Oakland City; 22 grandchildren, and 19 great-grandchildren. Five of the grandsons are in the armed services.
Mr. Fletcher was born in Adair county, Ky on February 2, 1861 and had been a Princeton resident 47 years. He was a member of the Trinity Gospel Tabernacle, Baldwin Heights.
