Lee Thomas Jenkins passed away Thursday, Nov. 26th at home. He was born November 13, 1945 in Benham Ky., the son of the late James Audley and Helen Evelyn Jenkins. He believed in the Baptist faith.
In addition to his parents, he was preceded in death by brothers, Steve, Teddy, Sonny, Bill; and sisters Wilma, Della, and twin sister Leona. Daughter Helena Louise Williams and grandson Cody.
Survivors include his daughter Michelle "Shelley" Jenkins, his sons Leo, Jamie (Shelby) and grandchildren, Hope, Elijah, Payton, Cheyenne, Thomas. Brothers, James A. "Jimmy" (Cookie) Jenkins, Willard Atchley "Will" (Mary) Jenkins; sisters, Zella Schultz & Jimmy, Bobbie Lynn (Tyson) Johnson, Lois Effler (Bill), and Alma Lee Jenkins and a large number of nieces and nephews as well as great nieces and nephews. And life long friend Ronnie Seals
Lee worked in the Morgan County School System, and was also employed by food Lion. His enjoyment came from summer gardening, and doing detailing and repairing automobiles.
Funeral service will be held in the chapel of Martin Oak Ridge Funeral Home, December 1, 2015 at 7:00 PM with the Rev. Daniel Myers and Rev.James Basler officiating. Visitation with the family will be at begin at 5:00 until time of service
