Mrs. Sallie Ann Blunt, 79, Valliant, died at 2:50 a.m. Sunday, at Parkview Nursing home in Valliant.
She was born February 10, 1886, in Arkansas and had resided in Valliant 35 years, moving from Foreman. She was a member of the Assembly of God church.
She is survived by one son, Clarence Altenbaumer, Valliant; five daughters, Mrs. Ethel Hallaford and Mrs. Fred Kellams, both of Coolidge, Ariz., Mrs. Arthur Lansdale, Grand Prairie, Tex., Mrs. Odie Walker, Alleene, Ark., and Mrs. J.J.Walker, Valliant; her step-mother, Mrs. Onie Shaffer, Ashdown, Ark.; two half-sisters, Mrs. Dick Patterson, Ashdown, and one whose name was not available; 34 grandchildren, 46 great-grandchildren, and two great-great-grandchildren.
Funeral services have been set for 2 p.m. today at Valliant Assembly of God church with Rev. Dean Hamilton officiating.
Arrangements and burial in Felker cemetery are under direction of Norwood-Welch funeral home.
