Vivian Margaret McGee died on Aug. 11 of age-related causes. She was born in Glendale, Ore. on June 28, 1929, to Roy and Nellie Totten.

McGee married Ed McDonald, got divorced, and married Bob Stenson. He passed away and she married Wes McGee. She lived in the Coos Bay and North Bend area prior to moving to Cottage Grove.

McGee attended Bandon High School and worked as a waitress and homemaker.

She worked as a waitress in Bandon and Cottage Grove at thee Grove Cafe. She was also the store manager at the Cottage Grove goodwill.

McGee loved being with her family, camping, fishing, hunting, bowling, traveling and gardening. She also loved her dogs. Her favorite things were banana milkshakes, tootsie rolls and having breakfast with friends at local restaurants.

McGee was very involved with several local senior programs and was very proud to receive recognition as a volunteer.

She is survived by husband, Wes McGee, of Cottage Grove; a daughter, Carol Clinton, of Oregon; two sons, Gary McDonald, of Oregon, and Roy McDonald, of Oregon; two sisters, Helen Stearns, of Idaho and Margaret Totten, of Oregon; seven grandchildren; and several great-grandchildren.

McGee is predeceased by daughter, Lorraine Schlaf; brother, Roy Totten; and grandson, Wesley Schlaf.

A family gathering will be held at a later date.
