Martinez, Joseph "Vachie" Sapien 72 of Goodyear, passed away November 2, 2015. Born on March 12, 1943, in Phoenix, AZ. He is survived by his brothers, Armando(Maria), Pascual(Dolores), Manuel, Andy and his many nephews and nieces who loved him. He is preceded in death by his parents Luis and Guadalupe; brothers, Efren, Vicente, Frank(Mickey), Jesse; and sisters, Julia, Lupe, and Maria. Joe was an Army Veteran, who served during the Vietnam conflict. When he came back, he worked as an equipment operator in the construction field, then later in life as a truck driver for a local produce farm. Joe was full of life and loved visiting with family and friends by keeping them in the loop. Joe enjoyed taking care of his cats and driving around in his Mustang.
