Wanda Faye Tollenaar was born August 15, 1940 in Iowa City, Iowa, the daughter of James and Burdine (Stoffregen) Cooper. She attended high school in Grimes. On October 16, 1965 Wanda was united in marriage to Ronald Thomas Tollenaar in Hedrick. They made their home in the Sigourney community. Wanda worked as a butcher in Blackies Super Value, Kinds Jack and Jill, and at K&L Groceries before retiring in 2005. She was a member of the Sigourney Christian Church. She enjoyed going to her grandchildren's activities and going to the casino. Wanda died on Friday, November 27, 2015 at her daughter's home in Sigourney at the age of 75 years.
She was preceded in death by her parents, her husband, and a brother Larry Cooper.
