Carol M. Ambrose, age 68, of Independence, Missouri. Passed away at Centerpoint Health Center on Monday, November 23, 2015, at 8:45 pm, as a result of complications from Ischemic Colitis.
Carol was born March 31, 1947. She was the only child of Peter Riccio and Marion Couch. Her husband, John L. Ambrose often teased her, she was born a day premature. They were married for 35 years. She was an avid quilter. Never by machine, always hand pieced and hand quilted. She enjoyed many crafts over the years. Carol worked her younger years, as a Bookkeeper, for CMI, Construction Materials Inc. Then, she stayed home to raise her children.
Carol was preceded in death by her parents, Peter Riccio and Marion Couch. Her husband, John L. Ambrose and her son Peter Samuel Ambrose.
Visitation will be held Wednesday, December 2, 2015, from noon to 1:00 pm at Muehlebach Funeral Home, 6800 Troost Ave., KCMO, 64131. Interment following.
