Rita Caroline Conn was born June 24, 1944 to Edward Carl and Ruth Kathleen Ryser at home in Atchison, Kansas. She departed this life of 70 years Friday evening, November 14, 2014 at Salina Regional Health Center in Salina, Kansas.
Rita and her family moved to North Central Kansas when she was a small child. She graduated from Clyde High School.
On September 2, 1974 she married Darrel K. Conn at the Ada Lutheran Church near Kackley. This happy union was blessed with two sons, Dusty and Chris. After her marriage, they lived for a time in the Jamestown and Scottsville area before moving to the Asherville area where they enjoyed their rural home.
She was preceded in death by her parents, one brother, Wendell Ryser and one sister, Karla Cauley.
