Lonnie Leroy Adams, retired printer, passed away Monday, November 23, 2015 in Tulsa, at the age of 74 years. The son of the late Art Adams and Edith Cochran Adams, Lonnie was born on January 16, 1941 in Yale, Oklahoma and was raised and educated in the Norfolk and Yale Schools, graduating from Yale High School.

He was united in marriage to Glenda Guest on August 27, 1961 in the Council Valley Baptist Church. She preceded him in death on December 29, 1999. Lonnie had worked for the United States Jaycees as a printer for many years prior to his retirement. He loved playing the guitar, singing, hunting, fishing and spending time with his family and friends. He will also be remembered for knowing the very best places to eat.

He is survived by a brother Don Adams of Stillwater; a brother-in-law Joe Mendenhall of Yale; a sister-in-law Ruthie Adams of Las Vegas, Nevada; several nieces, nephews and other relatives and friends.

In addition to his parents and wife, he was preceded in death by one brother James Adams and two sisters, Phyllis Mendenhall and Barbara Gottfried.

Funeral services will be held Friday, November 27, 2015 at 10:00 a.m. in the Council Valley Baptist Church. Burial will follow in the Fairlawn Cemetery in Cushing.
