MRS. AGNES LONG DIED TUESDAY

Mrs. Agnes C. Long, a member of the Soldiers' Home at Burkett, Nebraska since 1929, died at the Pershing hospital at the Home at 11:15 a.m. Tuesday, following a short illness. She was visiting at the home of her daughter in Loup City, Nebraska when stricken about a week ago, and returned to the Home for treatment.

Mrs. Long was for a long term of years a resident of Washington county. She and her husband farming here, and later retiring to Blair where they lived on an acreage south of town. While here she made a host of friends who will join with the relatives in grieving over her departure.

Had she lived until April 1, she would have been 81 years of age.

She is survived by two daughters, Mrs. Ashley Conger of Loup City, Mrs. Effie Bly of Richland, Washington and one son, Mr. Fred Long of this city.

Funeral services will be held at 12:00 noon Thursday at Campbell's Mortuary with Rev. R. P. Rasmussen officiating, and interment will be at Avoca, Iowa.
