Mrs. Charlsea Duckworth Carney, age 85, of Dahlonega, GA passed away Monday, November 9, 2015 at her home.
Mrs. Carney was born in Blairsville, GA, January 1, 1930 and had lived in Lumpkin County for the past 52 years. She was a homemaker and was a member of Enon Baptist Church in Lumpkin County.
She was the daughter of the late Roy Mason and Nellie Patterson Mason and was also preceded in death by her first husband, Rufus Duckworth; infant son and infant daughter; daughter, Nancy Maness; sisters, Jana Ruth Plott and Bernadine Saul.
Funeral services for Mrs. Carney are scheduled for 2 PM Wednesday, November 11, 2015 at the Banister Funeral Home Chapel in Dahlonega, GA. Interment will follow in the Pleasant Grove Baptist Church in Blairsville, GA.
