Drewery "D.T." McMinn was my granddaddy. He was a very quiet but nice man who was a sawmill worker and farmer and worked hard for his family. He was married to my granny, Adelle Gregg McMinn, for 50+ years until her death. As far as I know, he never left the state of Mississippi in his 93 1/2 years. He was the father of R.P. "Peck," Kenneth, Ray, and Gregg McMinn and a daughter who died in infancy. He had ten grandchildren and a number of great-grandchildren. He passed away on his granddaughter Bobbi's 23rd birthday.
