Graveside services for Mrs. Carrie L. Patton, age 88, will be held at 10:00 am, Monday, November 16, 2015, at the Pleasant Hill Cemetery, Plain Dealing, LA. Interment will follow under the direction of Bailey Funeral Home, Plain Dealing.
Visitation will be held Sunday, November 15, 2015 from 6:00 pm until 7:00 pm at the funeral home.
Mrs. Patton was born on July 4, 1927 to George C. and Dolly M. Pope Voss in Haworth, OK and passed away on Wednesday, November 11, 2015 in Shreveport. She was a member of Plain Dealing Church of Christ and was a homemaker.
She is survived by her son, Ronny Patton and wife, Sharon of Plain Dealing; four grandchildren, Ronny Patton, Jr., Gerald R. Patton and wife, Thursa all of Alaska, Laura R. Tamburo and husband, Lane of Lafayette, LA, Michelle L. Patton of Bossier City; nine great-grandchildren; brother, Tommy G. Voss and wife, Ruth of Dinuba, CA; and several nieces and nephews.
Mrs. Patton was preceded in death by her parents; husband, Gerald E. Patton; and brother, Harold E. Voss.
Carrie married Gerald E Patton in Sevier County, Arkansas on October 11, 1947.
