Larry Boo Johnson, age 44, from Vian passed away November 5, 2015. Larry was born February 27, 1971 to George and Helen Johnson in Muskogee, OK. On June 27, 1993 he was united in marriage to the love of his life Misty (Gates). Larry worked for Fort Howard for 16 years in Muskogee and then Larry and Misty owned/operated the Napa Store in Gore. After the death of his wife in October of 2011 Larry closed the Napa store and focused on his 2 daughters. Following his dream to honor his wife Misty Johnson, Larry and Shannon Reheard just recently opened R & J Race Engines. You could often times find Larry at a local race track. He had a passion for racing. Larry loved hunting, working in the shop and spending time with his daughters and friends. Larry is preceded in death by his Father George Johnson and Wife Misty (Gates) Johnson. Larry leaves behind to cherish his memories, mother Helen Johnson of Vian; 2 daughters, Shelby Johnson and Autumn (Mowgli) Johnson, both of the home; 2 brothers, Paul Johnson of Louisiana, and Lawrence Johnson & wife Sheila of Sallisaw; 2 sisters, Rhonda Bryant & husband Jerry of Arkansas, and Gracie Gates of Gore; nieces, nephews, and many friends. Graveside Services will be 2:00 pm Tuesday, November 10, 2015 at Gates Family Cemetery in Gore, OK under the direction of Hibbs Funeral Home.
