Mrs. James Vasbinder Deceased
Mrs. James Vasbinder died at her home on the Sigel road, in Brookville, Monday, January 3d, 1916. Her funeral was the Wednesday following. Funeral services were conducted at the home in the afternoon, by her pastor, Rev. H.B. Potter. Interment was made in the Brookville cemetery.
Mrs. Vasbinder was the daughter of Michael and Lena Haugh, and was born in Cumberland county, in August, 1842. She came to Jefferson county with her parents when she was about ten years of age. She was married to James Vasbinder on the 14th of March, 1861. To them was born four children, two sons and two daughters. Two of these survive, James Vasbinder and Mrs. G.D. Cribbs, both of Brookville. Mrs. Vasbinder was a member of the Brookville M.E. church many years before her death.
