Neil D. Austin, Sr., 68 of West Chester, PA died peacefully Saturday, October 24, 2015 at his home.
He was the husband of the late Lynne Ruggiero Austin.
Born February 12, 1947 in Cleveland, OH he was the son of the late Burt Taylor and the late Eileen Mc Morris.

He was a graduate of St. Joseph’s University, and received his Juris Doctor from Widener Law School.
He will be remembered for his love of his family, a stiff bourbon, a full pipe, and a warm fire.
He enjoyed gardening, yard work, golf, and was a boating enthusiast. As a self-taught handyman, he was proud to accomplish a recent home renovation and could simply fix everything himself - many times just with duct tape. Neil was a passionate reader and loved vacationing at the beach and island get-a-aways with his wife and lifelong friends.
He is survived by his daughter, Jessica A. Wisser and her husband Michael, son, Garrett J. Austin and his wife Katie, grandchildren, Griffin, Hope, Macie, Thane and Reagan, significant other, Jill Laverty, sisters Lynne Paskalis, Susan Bolton, sisters-in-law, Carol Austin, Sally DiFelice and her husband Jack. Also survived by many loving nieces and nephews.
He was preceded in death by his son, Neil D. Austin, Jr., brother, Dave Austin, brother and sister in-law, James and Emelyn Ruggiero.
Interment will be held in St. Agnes Cemetery, West Chester, PA.
