Rachel Rene' Morrison, 59, of Vero Beach, passed away on October 21, 2015 at home surrounded by her family. She was born on July 3, 1956 in Atlanta, GA and moved to Plantation, FL where she graduated from Plantation High School in 1974. Rachel went on to graduate of the University of Alabama with a BA. She taught at Vero Beach High School until 1983. She made a career change and for 28 years was a Hairstylist with many kind and devoted clients.
She had a strong Christian faith and attended Freedom Church. Rachel was creative in more ways than we could possibly list and enjoyed life to the fullest. We will miss her laughter, smile and quick wit.
Rachel was predeceased by her father, Arnold Morrison and sister, Rosemary Lynn Morrison and is survived by her Mother, Patricia Morrison; sisters, Pamela Morrison and Marlene Ferrara; nephew, Matthew Ferrara; great nephew, Xavier Ferrara and her extended family, Carl, Linda and niece, Summer Van Dyke and many wonderful friends.
A Celebration of Rachel's life will take place at 1:00 PM, Sunday, October 25, 2015 at Freedom Church, 455 58th Avenue SW, Vero Beach, FL 32968. Interment will follow at Crestlawn Cemetery.
