Sigurd Carringer Ross, 84, of Olathe, Kan., passed away Saturday, October 17, 2015. Mr. Ross, former owner/proprietor of Binkley's Lapidary Supply in San Jose, Calif., for 23 years. Survived by his wife, Marilyn Ross of the home; sons, Clifford D. Ross of Pleasant Grove, Utah, and Kendal S. Ross of Olathe; daughter, Laural DeRita of Red Bluff, Calif.; brothers, Hugh Ross of Saratoga, Calif., and Donal Ross of Berkley, Calif. His legacy includes six grandchildren and 18 great grandchildren. Memorial service 10 a.m. Friday, Oct. 23, at The Church of Jesus Christ of Latter-day Saints, 15915 W 143rd St., Olathe, where the family will receive friends from 9 to 10 a.m. In lieu of flowers donations can be made to The Huntsman Cancer Foundation, 500 Huntsman Way, Salt Lake City, UT 84108.
