He served in the U.S. Army, was a federal security officer, a member of the R-Ranch in Hornbrook, and the National Rifle Association.
Survivors include wife, Tammy; sons, Damien of West Virginia and Williard of Stockton; stepsons, Justin Koenig of Redding and Kyle Koening of Porterville; brother, Jerry Foster of Payson, Arizona; sisters, Peggy Valdez of Citrus Heights, Robin Foster of Red Bluff, and Sandra Foster of Corning; and one grandchild.
A celebration of life was held at Lake Redding Park.
