CLARA A. (VOGEL) VALERY

Clara A. Valery, 100, who worked as a partner with her husband, Eugene D., at the former Valery Electric here for 20 years, died Sunday (Oct. 28, 2001) in Fairchild Manor Nursing Home after a brief illness.
She had been living in the nursing home since August. Prior to that, she lived in Youngstown.
The former Clara Vogel was born in Watkins Glen and attended school there. She moved to Niagara Falls in 1917 and had lived in the Lewiston area for the past 51 years.
She enjoyed making quilts.
Her husband died in 1976.
Survivors include two sons, William F. of Lewiston and John of Cambria; two daughters, Marie Calandrelli of Niagara Falls and Rita Wilkinson of Youngstown; a half-sister, Irene Raymond of Pennsylvania.
Services will be held in Otto Redanz Funeral Home.
Burial will be in Gate of Heaven Cemetery.
