She appeared in many memorable films, including "Maid of Salem" (1937), "Merrily We Live" (1938), the underrated "The Mortal Storm," with Jimmy Stewart (1940), "Now, Voyager" (1942), "Suspense" (1947), and "Guilty of Treason" (1950).
