Country Musician. A native of Dublin, Texas, Duncan was born John Franklin Duncan. He is best remembered for his collaborations with Janie Fricke on several recordings in the 1970s, including, "Jo And The Cowboy", and "Come A Little Bit Closer." Although he never really had a hit song himself he is remembered for other recordings such as, "Sweet Country Woman", "Thinkin' Of A Rendezvous", "Stranger", "She Can Put Her Shoes Under My Bed (Anytime)", "Hello Mexico (And Adios Baby To You", "The Lady In The Blue Mercedes", and "Slow Dancing." Duncan stopped recording in the early 1980s, but he returned in 1986 to record a couple more singles. He was also a DJ at one time. He died from a heart attack.
