Jane (or Electa as she was called in the 1870 US Federal census) was born to a St. Clair pioneer George E. Evans and Louise Shoals. I have seen her birthday as 15 March 1860 and also as on her death record, April 12, 1860. She married Tommy Boughner on July 23, 1875 in St. Clair County. They had 6 Children: Cora, James, Carrie, Merle, Eva Jane, and George T.
